Atlantic Aurora

This piece was inspired by a magical weekend on the Donegal coast, where the northern lights unveiled themselves in shifting veils of green and blue above the Atlantic.

It was a time of celebration, marking my dad’s 70th birthday, and the sea breeze carried with it the warmth of family, laughter, and memory.

The deep blues of the ocean reflect not only the stillness of the night but also the depth of connection and belonging felt in that moment.

The aurora, fleeting and ethereal, became a symbol of life’s most treasured gifts love, togetherness, and the beauty of nature’s wonders.
