From above, the city unfolds like a patchwork memory, terraced rooftops, church spires, and cranes frozen mid-motion. This bird’s-eye perspective captures Belfast as a living map: streets threaded with history, neighbourhoods nestled between hills, and stories rising from every corner.
In this piece, I wanted to honour the city’s layered beauty, the way industry, art, and nature coexist in quiet rhythm. Seen from the sky, Belfast feels at once intimate and immense. As someone newly arrived, this view reminds me that every city is both landscape and lifescape - a place to find yourself in the in-between.
