Inspired by the breathtaking coastline beneath Mussenden Temple on Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast, Mussenden Moments is a celebration of the places that leave an imprint on our hearts. This is a shoreline woven into my family’s story, a place where my husband, our sons and I have wandered countless times, breathing in the salty air, chasing waves, and watching the ever-changing sky perform its spectacular dance of colour.
Golden light spills across the sea, illuminating the water as vibrant emeralds, turquoise blues and rich violets merge beneath a dramatic sky. Even as darker clouds gather overhead, the horizon glows with quiet promise, a reminder that hope is often found not in the absence of storms, but in the light that always finds its way through them.
Part of my 30 Days of Colour collection, this painting is an invitation to pause, to remember the places that restore your spirit, and to trust that, like the tide, hope will always return.
