Transcendence is a deeply personal celebration of finding my way back to myself.
After a challenging period in my life, I found that my creative spark had become quieter than it once was. Creating this painting felt like something awakening again, a rush of colour, energy and emotion pouring back onto the canvas.
The vibrant sky represents that feeling of breaking through the darkness and reaching towards something brighter, while the light dancing across the water symbolises hope, freedom and new beginnings. The layers of colour move between storm and calm, reminding us that even after the most difficult chapters, there can be beauty waiting on the other side.
For me, Transcendence is about more than overcoming illness. It is about rediscovering joy, reclaiming your light and allowing yourself to dream again.
I hope it speaks to anyone who has ever felt lost, paused or changed by something beyond their control and reminds you that your light can return. Sometimes, it comes back even brighter than before.
